Helping Suffering People Impacted By Hurricane Sandy

Let us all gather and take the time to lend a helping hand to the people that were negatively impacted by Hurricane Sandy. There is no gas in the city for people to use their cars and travel to the destinations in need of help. If we work together we can be able to deliver all the donations. We specifically chose one location for this purpose, so that everyone can be able to help those in need.

Thank you to all of the volunteers.

Donations should be in a non- sealed box weighing no more than 10 pounds and only essential items should be given. Here is a list of some crucial items:

Blankets, large size coats, basic cleaning supplies (bleach, windex, spic n span, ammonia), paper towels, dish soap, bar soap, deodorant, toiletries (such as toothpaste, pads, and toothbrushes), candles or flashlights, batteries for flashlights, food (check expiration date)such as parmalat milk, cereal, juice boxes, hot food, kosher food, rain boots, baby food, cat/dog food and supply, non reusable plates/ cups/forks/spoons...ect., warm clothing, tools,

Thank you for your time and understanding. We will be thankful for your participation.

If there is anyone willing to offer their time to either drive the donations to the location indicated below or to give gas for a car that can do so, it will be much appreciated.

November 4 we brought more than 30 boxes and bags of warm clothes, canned food, water bottles, blankets, baby food, pet food, paper towels, flash lights, toys and paper dishes.
Mary Star, a director of operations at Seagate Chapel, was very impressed and gladly accepted our donation.

It was an amazing experience today. I want to thank Anna Levinson and Alyona Badalova for their generosity and open hearts, hard volunteer work for people in need. Also big thanks to all children and adults who helped in this relief effort. Finally, special gratitude to my friend doctor Michael Patin who donated money to help our charitable activities.
