I recently returned from the amazing trip to Israel. This year I had a privilege to run for New York City Council in 48 District – Brighton Beach, Manhattan Beach, Trump Village, Luna Park, Brightwater, Sheepshead Bay, Manhattan Beach, Homecrest, Midwood.
I made a decision to run for City Council seat this year - in 48 District. This District includes many great, beautiful neighborhoods of Southern Brooklyn, like Brighton Beach, Manhattan Beach, Sheepshead Bay, Homecrest, Midwood... It will have some new areas like Luna Park, Trump Village and See Breeze Avenue.
We survived Sandy, but it was not easy. We got used to have electricity and water, bread and TV shows, heat and subway, gasoline and cell phone connection. We lost all of these and many other things at once.
On Thursday, September 13, 2012, I won by 750 votes and became a District Leader beating 24-year incumbent Michael Geller. My victory would not be possible without your encouragement and assistance. Thank you so much!
